About DM2 to MIDI

DM2 to MIDI is an application for Windows that allows you to use the DM2 (Digital Music Mixer) by mixman as a regular MIDI controller. This enables you to use your DM2 to control any MIDI supporting application such as Cubase VST, Traktor DJ Studio or visualJockey just to name a few.

To fully use DM2 to MIDI you will need a so-called virtual midi router such as Hubi's LoopBack Device (for Windows 98) or MIDI Yoke Junction (for Windows ME, 2000 and XP). Please check their sites for installation instructions and support.

DM2 to MIDI is free. But if you happen to like it and feel like I should continue supporting and developing it in the future, let me know by checking out the PayPal button in the top right corner of this page. Thanks ;)

Note: I'm not affiliated with mixman in any way. If you've got questions regarding DM2 to MIDI, ask them directly to me and not to mixman!

FAQ

Will there be a Mac version of DM2MIDI?
A Mac version of DM2MIDI is currently not planned, sorry.

How can I get the DM2 software and DM2MIDI to work under Windows XP or Windows 2000?
You need the Windows 2000 & XP update for the DM2 which is available here:
http://www.mixman.com/dm2/ (klick on the UPDATES tab).

How can I merge the output of DM2MIDI with a different MIDI source?
Since version 1.1, DM2MIDI supports midi merging. You can either merge all incoming MIDI data or only the MIDI data that hasn't been processed by DM2MIDI. See the 'MIDI thru' section in the 'MIDI Input' settings to enable MIDI merging.

Where can I get more information about DM2MIDI related stuff and meet other DM2 users?
Just check out the DM2 to MIDI message board at http://www.dmtwo.tk/.
